HISTORY

CONSTRUCCIONES FERROVIARIAS DE MADRID began operations in 2005 dedicated to performing production activities to supplement its parent company, CAF.
The company was incorporated to perform a single project, assembly and commissioning of the Madrid Metro 3000 Series pursuant to agreements with the Community of Madrid for Metro projects.
It now boasts a workforce consisting of qualified professionals with extensive experience in comprehensive maintenance of bogies and all parts making up bogies and it is a benchmark company in railway maintenance with extremely strict quality standards and state-of-the-art workshops.

2005
COFEMA FOUNDATION

BASED ON THE AGREEMENTS MADE WITH THE COMMUNITY OF MADRID FOR THE ASSEMBLY AND COMMISSIONING OF THE 3000 SERIES MADRID METRO TRAINS.

2006
METRO MADRID

ASSEMBLY AND COMMISSIONING OF THE METRO MADRID S3000 UTS.

2008
CIM (CENTRO INDUSTRIAL DE MADRID / MADRID INDUSTRIAL CENTRE)

CIM WAS CREATED AS THE BRAVA BOGIES MAINTENANCE CENTRE IN THE CENTRAL PENINSULAR AREA.

ELECTRONIC REPAIRS CENTRE

THE ELECTRONIC REPAIRS CENTRE WAS SET UP FOR TECHNICAL SERVICES

OPERATIONS

CONSTRUCCIONES FERROVIARIAS DE MADRID specialises in comprehensive maintenance of bogies and all their components. We perform the following activities:

  • Short, medium and long-cycle preventive maintenance.
  • Corrective maintenance.
  • Design and implementation of rail vehicle modifications and remodelling for continuous service improvement.
  • Maintenance supplementary activities and auxiliary operations, electric, mechanical and pneumatic work.

Our success is based on the professionalism of our personnel and the support they receive, from the entire organisation, particularly from the Engineering Department which integrates all stages of our projects.
