PROJECT FOR THE TRANSFORMATION OF 12 3000 1 UNITS FROM SINGLE TO DUAL VOLTAGE

Transformation of 12 of the 3000-1 series units from single to dual voltage, so that they can provide commercial passenger service on the Madrid Metro Line 5.

• Engineering work and the development of the draft project and the creation of the new project.
• Adaptation or replacement of the traction inverters.
• Adaptation or replacement of the circuit breakers.
• Adaptation or replacement of the auxiliary converters.
• Adaptation or replacement of the filter reactors.
• Adaptation or replacement of the box
• Wiring modification.
• Installation of a 50 Hz surveillance system.
• Development of traction control software which takes the new equipment into account
• Development of a new version of the auxiliary items control software (TCMS) which takes the new equipment into account
• A review of the performance of the unit under the service conditions as a result of the modification (new characteristic curves).
• Performance of tests (type and routine) on the modified units
